A close-up of a clean, white desk in a therapy practice, with a soft linen-bound journal open to a blank page, beside a smooth river stone engraved with the word “STABILITY.” Colorful sticky notes and fine-tipped pens are neatly arranged in a minimalist concrete holder. In the background, slightly blurred, a bookshelf displays therapy workbooks and a small pride flag folded beside a neurodiversity infinity symbol sculpture. Warm, indirect natural light from an unseen window casts gentle highlights and subtle shadows. Captured from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, the mood is organized, affirming, and quietly hopeful, emphasizing readiness for collaborative work and thoughtful exploration.
A neatly arranged therapy office corner without any people, featuring a contemporary charcoal-gray armchair with soft, textured fabric and a matching ottoman. The chair faces a low, light-wood table holding a ceramic mug, a small stack of well-worn psychology books, and a leafy green plant in a matte white pot. Large windows with sheer curtains allow diffused afternoon daylight to bathe the space in a gentle glow, soft shadows falling on a warm, natural-wood floor. Photographic realism, shot at eye level with a shallow depth of field, creating a calm, professional, and inviting atmosphere that suggests safety, reflection, and grounded support in a modern therapeutic environment.

Rates

Standard Session

Session fees vary by clinician and service type, generally ranging from $150–$225 for a 50–55 minute individual therapy session. Lease Therapy Collective is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance directly, but we can provide superbills you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many clients successfully use out-of-network benefits, HSA, or FSA funds to help cover costs. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are reserved for clients who hold marginalized identities or are experiencing financial hardship; these are offered based on availability and a brief conversation about your circumstances. Payment is collected at the time of service via credit, debit, or HSA/FSA card, and all fees and policies are reviewed transparently before you commit to ongoing work together.

Intensive Support

To support accessibility while honoring the intensive nature of relational and DBT-informed work, our fees are structured to be clear and predictable. Most therapists in our Chicagoland practice operate on a private-pay model, which allows us to collaborate without session limits or insurance-driven restrictions on diagnosis and treatment. If you have PPO or out-of-network benefits, we can help you understand the questions to ask your insurance company and provide monthly superbills for potential partial reimbursement. Sliding-scale and reduced-fee options may be available for queer, trans, and neurodivergent clients, as well as those navigating complex trauma who might otherwise be unable to access consistent care. Full details about rates, cancellation policies, and any current reduced-fee availability are shared during your free consultation so you can make an informed decision before starting therapy.
